Before joining EBM full time as our Sales Manager, she was the Office and Financial Manager for ABcarz.com Auto Marketing Business for 3 years. She was instrumental in ensuring that the company was compliant with the Texas Department of Transportation and other State and local offices including, auto financial companies. Charlene was also involved in the sales and marketing efforts of ABcarz; based on her marketing background, this just came natural.

Prior to ABcarz, Charlene was self-employed, contracting with several companies involved in Marketing and PR activities. She promoted and managed a successful Kiosk program for one of the leading computer supply companies in the US. She was also the sales lead for a family run business in Tyler Texas, which helped increased their business by 75% in East TX and the Dallas area.

Charlene brings more than 19 years of marketing, sales and PR experience, with 13 years of her career spent with IBM Corp, working with various organizations in the company. She was a Sales Team Leader and Interface for an engineering product, CATIA. Previously, she was the IBM CAD/CAM Education and Services Manager for the Scientific and Engineering Organization. Charlene and her team developed and implemented a successful services and education plan for this organization by involving IBM Business Partners and the CATIA software developer in France. She received numerous awards for her efforts, including 2 Presidential Awards and several Marketing and 100% Sales Awards

Prior to IBM, Charlene started her career in the Banking Industry. She held several position in the banking business including, Assistant V.P. of Mortgage Lending. After a few years she found herself getting involved in marketing and advertising activities for the bank. She later started her own Marketing and Advertising Agency and as an agent, she worked with several television, radio stations and other media sources to secure the right advertising plan for her customers.

Today, Charlene is excited about the opportunity at EBM Corp. to grow her knowledge in the Internet Marketing Business including, Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. And, she’s hoping to combine her skills and experience to help grow this business. Although, she is very dedicated to her career with EBM, she still makes time for her family, her music hobby and community activities.
